Counselling is a talking therapy that allows people to explore the issues and problems that are causing them distress. The aim is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to gain a better understanding of your feelings and behaviours. This will support you to make insights which can improve and change your situation.
Together, in our sessions, we can explore situations which are troubling you at your own pace. This will help us to gain greater understanding of why this maybe as well finding better ways for you to cope. Through therapy you can find your voice and learn how to prioritise your own needs better.
Whatever you’re going through, don’t go through it alone.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor which means I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches enabling me to tailor my service to meet your needs. I offer a supportive relationship in which we can work through your thoughts while exploring whatever you need help with.
My focus is to provide you with a confidential, compassionate and non-judgmental space in which you can feel safe and relaxed to talk things through. Whatever painful feelings or experiences you are bringing, I will support you to explore what is causing you to feel that way and help you find a way forward.
I have experience supporting people going through different difficulties in life including anxiety, personal relationship problems, work relationship problems, ill health, autism, loss of direction in life, stress and more. No matter what you’re going through, things can change for the better.
My training was in a relational model of counselling which means I strongly believe in the healing power of the relationship. Whatever you are struggling with in life, we can build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship for you to safely explore any aspects affecting you.
I offer individual counselling which I run from my private practice in Ashtead, I also offer some online sessions if this preferable for you. Sessions last for 50 minutes, and I work with clients long term and short term, this is entirely your decision.
Finding the right counsellor for you is the first step towards moving forward, with this in mind I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation either by phone or online. I understand that this decision cannot be made just by reading a profile and would like you to be sure you have made the right choice.
There is plenty of free on-road parking within my cul-de-sac.
